With some OEMs, you can build prepaid data plans into the vehicle price at time of purchase, which lowers the monthly operating cost for you and your clients.

Yes. Along with OEM direct connectivity, Motorq ingests data from aftermarket devices and existing third party telematics providers, then normalizes it into one data model. Your team sees the same signals and definitions across the fleet whether a vehicle has an embedded modem or a device installed years ago. You do not need to replace working hardware to get started.

Both options are available. Your clients can reach Motorq inside the portal they already use, either through an embedded view or a white labeled version carrying your brand. You get a telematics interface built for vehicle health, utilization, safety, and location without your team building and maintaining that UX. Fuse, our AI assistant, comes with it, so clients can ask questions and generate reports rather than reading dashboards. If you would rather feed data into systems you already run, our APIs, streaming feeds, and Snowflake data lake support that too.

Enrollment is a software step. VINs can be uploaded in bulk through the Motorq Fleet Portal or by API. Motorq handles the OEM consent and activation workflow. There is no hardware to order, install, or retrieve, so a batch of vehicles can be sending data the same day. Unenrolling works the same way in reverse: remove the vehicle and data collection stops.

OEM signals include safety alerts like hard braking, speeding, and seatbelt status, alongside maintenance and diagnostic signals, fuel level, EV battery health, utilization, and location, all pulled from the vehicle's own systems. Exact signal availability varies by manufacturer and model year, so talk to our team to confirm what's available for a specific fleet.

Motorq connects directly to 25+ OEM brands, including General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Stellantis, BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, Rivian, Volvo, and Hyundai, covering the vast majority of new vehicles and most model years from 2022 onward. For older vehicles outside that range, Motorq connects to most aftermarket devices, so fleets can see their entire mix in one place.
